“Being Sri Lanka’s first insurer to launch a medical insurance cover with an annual limit of up to one million dollars reflects our continuous commitment to expanding our portfolio of products and evolving with the changing needs of our customers,” Asian Alliance Insurance PLC Managing Director, Iftikar Ahamed said.
“Medical innovation in the international arena is moving forward at speed and by making specialised medical care available from globally reputed medical establishments possible at competitive rates, the new product is expected to bring tremendous value to our customers.”
Asian Alliance Insurance has entered into agreements with some of the world’s most reputed medical establishments to provide special benefits and to facilitate the best possible healthcare locally and internationally for the company’s customers.

Asian Alliance’s premium customers – the AAA+ cardholders – currently also enjoy the benefits of cashless medical treatments, priority service and many other value-added services when treated at any of the hospitals of the Asiri Group – which together with Asian Alliance is part of the Softlogic Group.
Asian Alliance Insurance PLC is held by Softlogic Capital PLC and is part of the Softlogic Group, which is recognized as one of Sri Lanka’s most diversified and fastest-growing conglomerates with interests in Healthcare, Retail, ICT, Leisure, Automobiles and Financial Services. Significant stakeholders in the company also include FMO and DEG that are rated ‘AAA’ Development Financial Institutions from the Netherlands and Germany respectively.
