Harcourts recently launched a new diabetic drug Linagliptin (LINAPTIN) at Hotel Shangri-La Colombo. The symposium was provided over by well-known endocrinologists Professor Henry Rajarathnam, Dr. Prasad Katulanda and the speaker was Dr.Uditha Bulugahapitiya.
The symposium was conducted by renowned Endocrinologists Dr.Henry Rajapaksa, Dr.Prasad Katulanda and the speaker Dr Uditha Bulugahapitiya on the use of Linaptin (Linagliptin ) the latest of the Gliptin. The drug is manufactured by one of the top Bangladeshi pharmaceutical companies - General Pharmaceuticals which is a WHO/GMP company. Speaking at the event the Managing Director Dr.Momanul Haq assured more new medicines and first time in Sri Lanka products. Dr. Ziad Rahmen Manager Global Marketing of General Pharma also made a presentation on the company of General Pharmaceuticals for the audience.
Harcourts Chairman Ahamed Rheyas confirmed that he would introduce many first time products in Sri Lanka in the near future. Over 100 top physicians and 15 Endocrinologists attended the event. “Linaptin” is now available in Sri Lanka for an economical price for patients.
