Special measures have been implemented to provide care through clinics that come under the National STD/AIDS Control Program during curfew, health officials said yesterday.
The central clinic located in Colombo will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 noon from Monday to Saturday, they added.
Patients can use the text messages sent by the National STD/AIDS Control Program in lieu of a curfew pass, the Health Promotion Bureau said in a statement issued yesterday.
In addition to this, patients can visit the clinic closest to them if they are unable to visit the clinic they have been appointed. Contact details and addresses of all clinics in the island can be found at www.aidscontrol.gov.lk.
