Leading healthcare provider Hemas Hospitals, in a bid to help more people in need of its wide-ranging and innovative fertility treatments, recently partnered with the 2019 Medicare National Healthcare Exhibition, which took place at the BMICH from 1-3 March and Jaffna from 15-17 March.
The Hemas Hospitals stall offered visitors free consultation with fertility consultants and a panel of experts. Hemas Hospitals’ purpose-built and state-of-the-art fertility centre is located within Hemas Hospital Wattala and is manned by a team of highly-trained medical professionals. This allows the clinic to provide patients with access to a multitude of cutting-edge treatment options such as In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), advanced laparoscopic procedures, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), donor egg IVF, sperm freezing, sperm banking, reproductive diagnostics (3D ultrasound, HSG, etc.) and fertility screening.
“We are delighted to have been a part of an event of such stature and magnitude. By participating in the Medicare National Healthcare Exhibition, our experienced team of consultants and experts offered people crucial advice on which one of our multiple fertility treatments would best help them realise their dream of starting a family,” said Hemas Hospital Wattala Director/General Manager Dr. Lasantha Karunasekara.
The Medicare National Healthcare Exhibition, which was organised by the Ministry of Health for the 10th consecutive year, aimed to introduce and promote the latest advancements in medical science and technology. The event showcased the newest developments in modern healthcare, disease prevention, treatment and technology as well as the latest services available at Sri Lankan hospitals and laboratories. The Jaffna Medicare Exhibition also featured subfertility care options and Hemas Hospitals managed to reach a vast clientele allowing them to experience the best of fertility care.
First established in 2008 with the launch of its pioneering facility in Wattala, followed by a second hospital in Thalawathugoda, Hemas Hospitals has today grown into one of the most advanced hospital chains in Sri Lanka. The group has pioneered global best practices in Sri Lanka, setting a steep benchmark for quality and patient safety.
