Certis Lanka Home Nursing & Swift Care Ltd., was recognised as one of the 10 best workplaces for women in Sri Lanka at the Great Place To Work Awards ceremony held at Shangri-La Colombo on 5 September.
Great Place to Work Sri Lanka received applications from over 30 organisations across the country. These organisations were assessed to understand how they enable and empower women in their workforce to experience successful careers. The assessment involved studying the employee experience of these organisations and the people practices they have, that help them deliver the desired experience to their women employees.
Certis Lanka Home Nursing & Swift Care Ltd. (CLHN&SC) is a fully-owned subsidiary of Certis Lanka Group, and the Group has diversified in to transportation of cash and valuables, electronic security systems, courier services and home nursing with more than 42 years of experience in Sri Lanka.

Certis Lanka recruits skilled and unskilled or freshers or school leavers (mostly unemployed) persons, who would be guided through well-structured training programs, and followed up with specialised training programs after the probationary period. The programs are structured based on industry requirements, with the guidance of well-experienced senior registered nursing sisters. The company conducts training programs free of charge, and fulfils its obligations as an employer.
Certis Lanka has its own training academy, which was established with an intention of providing continuous development of employees, which provides elders care and child care, use of medical equipment, emergency medical management, and to provide comprehensive knowledge on handing health related equipment along as per the best health practices. The variety of training programs are in place to enhance the knowledge on caring services, which enables the individual to work with confidence. Furthermore, CLHN&SC has partnered with leading hospitals in Sri Lanka, which provide a variety of on-the-job training programs which benefits all stakeholders.
