Several leading retailers and consumer brands will join CH17 Rewards and Loyalty to pay tribute to medical professionals and frontline healthcare workers by launching ‘CARE PRIVILEGE’, a program to honour those in the frontline battling the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are indeed thankful to all our retail partners and merchants for their support and great gesture in making this possible,” CH17 CEO Jumar Preena said.
“We have made arrangements to enrol all care workers recommended by the health sector authorities and to provide them a special memento in recognition of their selfless and dedicated service to the public during this difficult period,” he added.
CARE PRIVILEGE is for the healthcare sector where they can enjoy reduced tariffs, free offers, cash discounts and promotional rates from more than 50 partner merchants and retailers throughout the year.

“The retail community was more than willing to come forward and support us, I am ever grateful for their generosity,” he added.
“We have already discussed and shared this program with officials of the Ministry of Health, the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) and the Public Service United Nurses Union (PSUNU) and they were supportive as it would benefit the healthcare workers and their families in many ways,” Jumar explained.
“At a time when the entire business community is reeling in total state of shock, we were able to transform the hard times to our favour with positive thinking and was able to stay afloat keeping our staff occupied during the lockdown period. My dynamic team to this upon themselves as a challenge and to do something to the society,” he added.
