Company honoured with additional Silver and Bronze awards for successful internal and shareholder communications programs
Virtusa Corporation, a global business consulting and IT outsourcing company that combines innovation, technology leadership and industry solutions to transform the customer experience, announced that it has been honoured with three Stevie Awards during the 12th annual American Business Awards Gala, including the coveted Gold award for Human Resources Department of the Year – Computer Services and Computer Software. More than 3,200 nominations were submitted to the awards overall.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organisations operating in the USA are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

The Stevie Awards, the world’s premier business award competition, recognises individuals and teams for delivering outstanding performance in customer service. At the annual gala, Virtusa won three awards, including:
• A Gold award for human resources department of the year. Virtusa is one of seven companies to receive an award in the HR Department of the Year category
• A Silver award for communications or PR campaign/program of the Year - internal communications- for its internal campaign to drive awareness among employees on an internal career oriented program
• A Bronze award for investor relations program of the year for “Virtusa’s commitment to openness and transparency reflected in financial communications to investors and to the media”

In 2014, Virtusa won a Silver Stevie award for Human Resources Department of the Year and a Bronze Stevie award for Investor Relations Department of the Year.
