Ven. Dr. Bellanwila Wimalaratana Thero’s term as Chancellor of Shrijayawardanepura Uni extended

President Maithripala Sirisena extended the five-year term of Ven. Dr Bellanwila Wimalaratana Nayake Thero as Chancellor of the Shrijayawardanepura University for a further period of five years.

The President handed over the letter of extension to Ven. Wimalaratana Thero at the Bellanvila Rajamaha Viharaya this week.

The President offered pooja at the temple and obtained blessings from the Maha Sangha on this occasion.
