CIMA Sri Lanka in its endeavor to promote continued professional development amongst its members and the corporates announces a workshop titled ‘The Relevant Executive’.
Today’s executive has to be adept in more areas than the one they formally qualified in.
To operate effectively, they need to be a trusted adviser and business partner first and a technical expert second. This workshop looks at the attributes that are required of an executive to perform with leadership impact and influence at every level of the organisation.
Course content for the workshop includes executive presence; change management; stakeholder engagement; a framework for deploying organisational strategy; participant exercise
Mastercourse speaker Lawrence Leelasena is presently the Director at the Global Business Operations, Honeywell Control Systems, UK. Lawrence has worked in large multi nationals across multiple geographies and cultures. He has held senior leadership positions in finance and operations overseeing Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa prior to his current role which has operational responsibility within an organisation that conducts business in 122 locations across the world. In addition to finance, Lawrence has led large and complex change management programmes, finance transformation, business transformation, system implementations, BPO solutioning and start up and strategy deployment for the organisations he has worked for. Lawrence is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Edinburgh Business School.
This afternoon Mastercourse is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 15 August 2012 (2pm to 5pm) at the CIMA Sri Lanka Division.
