Sri Lankan in advisory panel of worlds’ largest youth organisation

International Leo organisation is the worlds’ largest youth organisation, spread over 139 countries of the world. A membership of over 2 hundred thousand energetic and capable Leos belonging to 6100 Leo clubs in 32 Leo Multiples are engaged in leadership building activities through community service.Leo Organisation follows the three step principle of building Leadership through the Experiences gained by taking hold of the Opportunities in society.



Sri Lanka is known to be a country to produce high caliber Leos among the 139 countriesin which the Leo organisation is established. Sri Lanka is functioning as Leo Multiple 306 headed by Leo Dhanushka Ramanayake as the Multiple District President. Leo Multiple 306 is divided to 6 Leo Districts catering 152 Leo clubs and 3500 Leo members.

A special advisory panel has been formed to guide and administer the international Leo organisation with the purpose of maintaining the international standards and values of the organisation at a satisfactory level.An advisory panel member is specially appointed by the international director board and only 15 panelists are selected to represent all 139 countries. This prestige has been offered to the present Leo Multiple District President of Sri Lanka, Leo Dhanushka Ramanayake considering the remarkable achievements throughout his Leoistic career. Leo Dhanushka read his oaths over Skype for the new position this week along with the rest of the panelists.
