Sri Lanka Federation of University Women celebrates 75 years

84 women under graduates to receive scholarships

The Sri Lanka Federation of University Women (SLFUW) which represents female undergraduates of Sri Lanka, will grant 84 scholarships to less privileged women undergraduates as one of the initial events lined up to mark its 75th year of continuous service to female university students.

The recipients, selected through the respective University authorities from 14 Sri Lankan universities, will receive scholarships at an Award Ceremony where the Minister of Special Assignments Dr. Sarath Amunugama will be the Chief Guest.

The Chairman of the University Grants Commission Professor Mohan Silva will be the Guest of Honour.

The Award Ceremony will be held 31 August 2016 at the SLFUW Auditorium, 96/25 Kitulwatte Road, Colombo 08.
