The award focuses on the organization’s people development initiatives on holistic framework benchmarked with global and regional best practices. The framework has ten standards. The strategic cluster includes Business Strategy, Learning & Development Strategy, People Management Strategy, and Leadership and Management Strategy. The operational cluster includes Management Effectiveness, Recognition and Reward, Involvement & Empowerment and Learning and Development. The Impact and sustainability cluster has Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement as the standard focus area.
The selection process will be completely independent and professional individuals who are not attached to any of the organizations applying for the awards will conduct on-site audits and make recommendations to the judging committee that is also independent.
The application process is now open and will be closing on 15 October 2014 leaving two months for the organizations to prepare and submit their award applications. The pinnacle of this event will be on 20th November 2014 where the award recipients will receive their awards at a glittering ceremony to be held at the Grand Ballroom of Galadari Hotel Colombo.
