SLAAPS Annual Members Day 2016

The Annual Members’ Day of the Sri Lanka Association of Administrative and Professional Secretaries (SLAAPS) was held at the Gateway Hotel, Airport Garden, Seeduwa recently. The theme selected this year was ‘Unity Is Strength’. As this is a much looked forward event by the members, the turnout was commendable. The objective of this event is to strengthen fellowship and networking among the members.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Member of the Year Award. This year two members of Association received the Member of the Year Award for their contribution, assistance and attendance towards the projects held during the year. The Joint Winners Award were received Nirmali Senadeera from the Bank of Ceylon and Narishta Brasz of MAS Active Ltd. Deepthi Perera of National Savings Bank was the second best contributor and Antoinette Pintoe was adjudged the third best contributor.

The day’s program included many interesting games – some of them were the fancy dress, baila competition etc. The winners were presented with valuable prizes.

Performance at the 23rd ASA Congress was also staged for the benefit of members.

There were many interesting stalls for the shopaholics. It was a memorable day of fun and entertainment dedicated to the members of SLAAPS.
