SJMS triumphs at Inter-Auditors Quiz Finals

SJMS Associates emerged victorious claiming the overall winner’s award at the recently concluded grand finale of the CASS Quiz competition 2013, organised by the Chartered Accountants (CA) Students’ Society. The final was held on 3 April 2013, at Hotel Galadari Colombo, during the CA Students’ annual National Conference, a prestigious calendar event that sees the participation of all leading Chartered Accounting firms in Sri Lanka.

A total of 33 teams competed for this esteemed title, out of which, the top three contenders, SJMS, KPMG and EY, had to vie with one another for the best two to qualify for the finals. Ultimately, EY was knocked out while KPMG and SJMS progressed to the finals where ‘SJMS—Brainstormers’ secured the championship award by beating KPMG with a formidable score of 60 points. KPMG claimed the runners up position with 40 points.
