SJMS Associates signs MOU with CMA Sri Lanka as an accredited practical training partner

SJMS Associates, a well known, long established firm of Charted Accountants which is also an independent correspondent firm to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, signed an MOU with the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) as an accredited practical training partner.

CMA students will be provided with a minimum of two year practical training in accounting, internal auditing and management consultancy which would enable the students to have an all round practical training and make them eligible for jobs in the private and public sectors. All CMA students who have registered with CMA are eligible to undergo their practical training while studying for the exams. They could now register with CMA for obtaining places in accredited firms for their required training. SJMS Senior Partner Aruna Jayawickrama stated that CMA students will now be able to get a good grounding in the practical aspects in the field of Management and Financial Accounting with high quality supervised training provided by SJMS.

The MOU was signed by SJMS Senior Partner Aruna Jayawickreme and CMA President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala.
