S.T.A.R.S awards at Taj Samudra

S.T.A.R.S – Special Thanks and Recognition System at Taj Samudra, Colombo held their annual award ceremony last evening at the On Gold Pond. 

Three associates from the House Keeping Department and Front Office Department who obtained the highest scores from Guest Satisfaction surveys in Taj Samudra, Colombo were felicitated by Taj Group of Hotels MD, Rakesh Sarna in India last week. 

S.T.A.R.S is way of rewarding achievement and exceptional performances by employees within the TAJ Group of Hotels worldwide. The highest achievers will receive a token of appreciation once a year in India. This year Front Office department’s  Dinusha Ranawaka scored 1110 while Kosala Tennakoon scored 1050 and JP Sunil (House Keeping Department )scored 1010 .

Area Director Sri Lanka & Maldives and General Manager of Taj Samudra, Sarabjeet Singh in his keynote speech thanked the associates for their dedicated service and unwavering commitment towards ensuring Taj Samudra’s journey towards excellence.

Awardees said they were very motivated and inspired to receive the S.T.A.R.S and said they look forward to assisting fellow team members in the quest to receive the S.T.A.R.S award the following year.
