Recognition of dedicated Cinnamon Lakeside associates

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo held their Long Service Awards on 12 September.

At this event which is held annually to honour the dedicated associates, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo General Manager Denis Gruhier recognised the long serving employees of the hotel who give of their time, fortitude and commitment into making Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo the success it is.

This year the Long Service Awards were centred on a Bollywood theme. Recipients, management and all invitees were invited to dress up ‘Bollywood’ style. Many obliged, coming colourfully dressed and the event sparkled and glittered to true Bollywood fashion.

Chandana’s talented dance troupe entertained and treated the audience to five performances, provided by young energetic dancers was an absolute treat to watch.

Recently awarded the prestigious title of The Best Five Star City Hotel, Sri Lanka for the second year in succession, along with Best Luxury Hotel, Sri Lanka, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo is proud to honour the associates for their hard work.

A total of 86 associates were recognised for their long service in the hotel. 16 employees for five years of service, 21 for 10 years and 15 years respectively, 18 for 20 years and 10 employees proudly serving the hotel for 25 long years of service.

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Associates are proud to be part of the Cinnamon Lakeside family and prides itself on fostering and nurturing goodwill and harmony among all.

Once all the recipients were awarded, the celebrations began. Music was provided by Warren and Rosette and the dancing floor overflowed with one and all joining in on the celebrations and just having fun all round.
