PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), the well-known long established local audit firm signed an MOU with CMA as an accredited practical training partner. CMA students will be provided with a two-year practical training in accounting and auditing, which would enable students to obtain jobs in the private and public sector.
All CMA students who have registered with CMA are entitle to obtain their practical training while undertaking their studies. They could now register for training to obtain extensive practical training with CMA accredited firms similar to PWC.
Students are able to get a good grounding in the management and financial accounting fields, with high quality training provided by PWC.
The MOU was signed by PWC Senior Partner Yudishtran Kanakasabe, PWC Human Capital Manager Maheshi Gamage and CMA President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala and CMA Executive Director L.B. Wattegedara.
Also witnessing the moment were, Director Operations Arosh Yahampath and CMA Sri Lanka education and training Consultant Swineetha De Livera.
