PIM Alumni’s CounterPoint 2012 to focus on “People before Technology”

In its quest to become a community of thought leaders committed to shaping nation’s socio economic fabric, Postgraduate Institute of Management Alumni (PIMA) will present CounterPoint 2012 with the theme of “People before Technology” at the Hilton Colombo Residency on 13th February 2012.

PIM Alumni always focuses on improving the professional quality of its members and all public/private sector executives and increasing their knowledge to contribute to the society. CounterPoint is a unique public interest program organized by PIMA, as part of its Continuous Professional Development programmes (CPD) offered to today’s managers.

This flagship event enables the PIM Alumni membership and today’s managers to learn from prominent personalities in the private and public sector, who have taken their organizations to greater heights by challenging conventional wisdom.

Both Millennium Information Technology Limited and Access group are iconic examples of how a company could be successful through innovation. At this forum Tony Weerasighe and Sumal Perera will share their stories on how important the human capital was for their respective companies in becoming successful.

 This program will be moderated by Sriyan De Silva Wijeratne, Country Manager, Microsoft.
