Orient Academy Limited entered into an MOU with the Association of Human Resource Professionals (HRP) on 8 March to provide IT related seminars and training to the Members of HRP.
Orient Academy will also extend special discounts to family members of HRP members for their IT and English programs. The Organisations of HRP Members will benefit from this partnership due to the attractive rates offered for corporate training and workshops.
HRP Secretary Thilan Perera stated that HRP promotes continuous learning and development through various forums and learning sessions periodically organised by HRP. Whilst this initiative will enable members to improve their IT skills, family members of HRP Members will get a discounted rate for programs offered by Orient Academy Ltd. This is a privilege that HRP members, their families and their organisations would benefit.
Kapila Giragama stated that they are delighted to partner with a professional association such as HRP and look forward to building a beneficial platform for both parties in the arena of IT training.
The HRM Awards is the flagship event organised by HRP every two years which promotes and rewards exemplary and innovative HR Best Practices in the corporate sector. HRM Awards 2012 was launched on 24 January and presently registrations are being invited from interested organisations. The winners will be announced at a formal ceremony, ‘The HRM Awards Night.’ on 31 July to be held at Cinnamon Grand.
