Image81874 National Human Resources Development Council of Sri Lanka (NHRDC) under the purview of the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs has launched a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program for the public sector to maintain and enhance the knowledge and skills of public sector professionals.

NHRDC Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody observed that CPD ensures that you and your knowledge stay relevant and up to date. You are then more aware of the changing trends and directions in your profession. He noted – the pace of change is probably faster than it’s ever been – and this is a feature of the new normal that we live and work in. If you stand still you will get left behind, as the currency of your knowledge and skills becomes out-dated.

The first lecture was conducted at the Auditorium, Ministry of Skills Development and Vocational Training on 10 May by PIM Director Dr. Ajantha S. Dharmasiri on the topic of ‘Winning mind’ for the middle and above management in public sector. 76 public Image81883sector officers participated.
