New Faculty of Engineering and Technology at University of Sri Jayewardenepura

The University of Sri Jayewardenepura has initiated work to establish a Faculty of Engineering and Technology to introduce professional education targeting the current job market.

A special meeting was held at the Presidential Secretariat recently to apprise President Maithripala Sirisena regarding the establishment of the new faculty. BUP_DFT_DFT-4-6

President Sirisena also commended the project by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura which fulfills the responsibility of a Government by identifying the highest demand in the world job market and uplifting education facilities according to the needs of the country.

Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon, the Chairman University Grants Commission Professor Mohan De Silva and Vice Chancellor of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Prof .Sampath Amaratunga participated in the discussions.
