Nature’s Secrets is Sri Lanka’s No.1 herbal cosmetics brand. These world class cosmetics are manufactured to internationally recognised GMP & ISO quality standards at an unparalleled production facility that comprises of Sri Lanka’s first privately owned Plant Research Centre and Sri Lanka’s largest privately owned medicinal plant garden. In a concerted attempt to support and strengthen the beauty industry and its aspiring beauticians, Nature’s Secrets has been in an active partnership with Sri Lanka’s Vocational Training Authority (VTA) for almost a decade. The VTA organises beauty culture training programs countrywide and takes steps to effectively improve the skills of new beauty aspirants. Nature’s Secrets has been at the forefront in initiating, training and sponsoring these programs, including providing beauty products free of charge for their beauty lessons. In addition, since 2013 Nature’s Secrets has begun to offer valuable foreign scholarships annually to VTA instructors. This invaluable opportunity will enable the VTA instructors to gain further knowledge and skills directly from renowned professional beauty culture specialists at the Chetawan Health School in Thailand. Equipped with greater skills and exposure, these VTA instructors can in turn train beauticians in Sri Lanka, improving their knowledge and thereby directly and indirectly contribute towards a more knowledgeable and developed beauty industry. Similar to last year, ten VTA beauty instructors will be offered scholarships to train in Thailand for a period of seven days in September 2014. The official scholarship awarding ceremony was held recently at the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Skills Development, Nipunatha Piyasa, Colombo 05.  Youth Affairs and Skills Development Minister Dullas Alahapperuma, Nature’s Secrets Chairman and Managing Director Samantha Kumarasinghe, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development B. Wijayaratne, VTA Chairman Colonel Dharshana Ratnayake and other officials were present on this celebratory occasion. Nature’s Secrets has embarked on a journey to become a global cosmetics brand by 2020. In line with this vision, Nature’s Secrets products are already exported to many countries in the world across Asia, Europe, Oceania, Middle East and Africa.
