Latvia University representatives visit Sri Lanka

A high powered delegation from the Riga Technical University – Deputy Rector Dr. Igors Tipans and Deputy Director Foreign Students Department Zane Purlaura together with International Project Coordinator of the School of Business Administration Turiba Kristine Tihanova visited Sri Lanka and were present at the Education Fair in Colombo.



A Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate with the University of Moratuwa is going to be signed in the coming months.

Latvia is a well-known and reputed educational hub for students from Sri Lanka who wish to study abroad within the European Union at very reasonable rates.

Many students from Sri Lanka have graduated in the past in the Medical Faculty of the Riga Stradins University. Sri Lankans who wish to have further information please contact the Personal Assistant Nawziya Hossen on 011/2385660-1 of the Consulate General of Latvia in Colombo.
