Thursday 8 March 2012 marked a significant event in the run-up to the HRM Awards 2012 – Super 10, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Hatton National Bank PLC (HNB) and the Association of HR Professionals (HRP) where HNB pledged a strategic partnership as a Gold Sponsor.
The MOU was signed by HNB’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Alles and HRP President Gayathri Chakravarthy. The signing was witnessed from HNB by the Deputy General Manager – Human Resources and Admin J.R.P.M. Paiva, Asst. General Manager – Human Resources Chiranthi Cooray and from HRP Vice President Asitha Jayatunga.
HRP is an established association dedicated to serve the human resource professionals in Sri Lanka. The members of HRP are senior human resource professionals from the country’s largest and most prestigious organisations.
HRP provides professional development, an arena for networking, a platform to share experiences which could create a positive change in the field of HR by establishing HR as a dominant force and discipline in the private and public sector and is aimed at positioning HR as the catalyst which drives efficiency, productivity and good governance.
The biennial National HRM Awards is the flagship event organised by the Association which promotes and rewards exemplary and innovative HR best practices in the corporate sector.
