JASTECA Institute of Management (JIM) is organizing another exciting one-day seminar to foster Creativity and Intuitiveness at work and in personal life.
This seminar is open to participants from the SAARC region. The resources person for this seminar will be the world renowned researcher on Creative thinking, Professor Shozo Hibino, the Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Chukyo University, Japan. He is also a widely translated Author of books on creativity, Internationally acclaimed speaker, Originator of Breakthrough Thinking and consultant to top Multinational companies that are leaders in their respective industries.
Creative solutions in any situation are in fact, products of our individual or collective imagination. Whether it be in developing new products and strategies or finding solutions for persisting or imminent problems, to be innovative requires inspiration of the mind. The practitioners of Breakthrough Thinking (BT) in the Japanese corporates, for the last decade have had their focus on inspiration and intuitiveness as opposed to a pure analytical approach when providing solutions for example; designing of a new products or cutting production defects towards zero. One such paradigm of this thinking is the globally acclaimed Toyota Production System (TPS) which “by passed” other existing production systems of its time. It is interesting to note that many non related manufacturing industries currently replicate and follow the principles of Toyota Production System to make their products globally competitive.
Extraordinary Breakthrough Thinking (EBT) designed to cultivate a creative solution finding mindset in the leaders of the present Globalised, Turbulent Age, is the advanced version of Breakthrough Thinking (BT). With its unique Philosophy, Approach and Tools, as opposed to the traditional analytical way of providing solutions, Extraordinary Breakthrough Thinking (EBT), could be effectively taught and practiced to develop breakthrough strategies and solutions in all parts of a modern organization or at a personal level, in private lives. The critical point of this thinking paradigm is that even small companies practicing this philosophy in creative thinking as a way of life could, with lean information, “bypass” better resourced huge companies that heavily rely on developing solutions and strategies by analyzing immense amount of past data. In effect this thinking empowers individuals to become “solution specialists” rather than being “problem specialists”. This also holds true for small countries and economies.
The participants of this seminar will learn how to use Extraordinary Breakthrough Thinking (EBT) to develop creative solutions based on the essence (purpose) and the future outcome. They will also benchmark how effective leaders think and balance current demands of leadership with the complexity of working together across various boundaries including time, culture, geography and technology.
