Four globally renowned speakers will come together in July this year, to enthrall the region’s corporate hierarchy at the 2016 Strategy Summit organised by the Business School of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).
Dr. Sunil Erevelles, Martin Roll, Sam Dias and Omid Ghamami will help corporate leaders in Sri Lanka and the Asian region to redefine their organisations strategy, while helping them understand the importance of creating an important niche, to help them succeed in their forward journey, while also ensuring that the organisations achieve long term success and sustenance.
The summit which will be held on 26 and 27 July is strictly for corporate leaders only, including chairmen, managing directors, chief executive officers, chief operation officers, chief financial officers and general managers. The summit will cover four key areas; The Future of Strategy, Winning Demand Side Revolution, Asian Brand Strategy and Leveraging Supply Chain Management.
Dr. Sunil Erevelles is the Associate Professor of Marketing at the Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. He received his Ph.D. in business from The Ohio State University. His areas of specialty are Marketing Strategy and Consumer Behavior. His research has been published in various journals including the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, the Journal of Consumer Satisfaction.
He is a consultant and executive education expert for companies, including Boeing, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Lowe’s, Prudential, Carolinas HealthCare System, St. Jude’s Medical, and the World Presidents Organization (WPO).
Martin Roll delivers the combined value of an experienced global business strategist, senior advisor and facilitator to Fortune 500 companies, Asian firms and family-owned businesses on how to build and manage strong, global brands as well as leadership of high-performing, marketing-oriented businesses.
Roll is very experienced in engaging and advising clients at all management levels from business owners and C-suite leaders to functional staff across multiple industries and cultures. Martin Roll is a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company.
Omid is known as the most trusted, sought after purchasing trainer in the world. He is famous for creating paradigm shifts in the way purchasing is done without resorting to the old, status quo that doesn’t work today and never really did.
Ghamami is President & Chief Consultant at Purchasing Advantage, a purchasing seminar and training solutions provider. Since 1995, he has taught thousands of hours of courses, workshops, and seminars in 10 different countries on topics related to the entire spectrum of purchasing, supply chain management, purchasing contract law, negotiations, and supplier management. His experience and strength in negotiations earned him the corporate designation of “Godfather of Negotiation Planning” for the entire $2.2B global purchasing organisation.
Sam Dias is Managing Consultant of Ninah UK, a boutique consultancy that advises clients on how to use marketing to create and sustain commercial value. His specialist practice area is the hot new topic of “Marketing Finance”. Dias commands over 20 years of experience and provides consultation service for blue chip clients such as: Vodafone, Toyota, Unilever, Virgin Group and Royal Bank of Scotland.
