The EDEX Mid-Year Expo 2017 was successfully launched recently to its stake-holders.
Pioneering the sector, EDEX remains the uncontested and largest tertiary education exhibition and job fair in Sri Lanka, held biannually; first in January (Colombo and Kandy) followed by a Mid - Year Expo in September. (Colombo).
EDEX Mid- Year Expo, since it was originally launched in Year 2014, has been most appealing to educational services providers in Sri Lanka and Overseas due to its perfect timing; immediately after conclusion of GCE AL Examination and just after release of London OL and AL Examination results.
EDEX is blessed with a loyal client base of exhibitor organizations growing year on year, representing reputed local and foreign universities, open universities / polytechnics, professional institutions, vocational training and skills development institutes, corporate institutions and business conglomerates and IT/BPO industry representatives offering services on diversified fields of education and careers.
EDEX Job Fair, which is concurrently run along with the Education Expo too enjoys satisfactory patronage of employers from diversified fields looking for right type of employees to fill their vacancies.
With an expected 25,000 visitor turn out, the EDEX Mid-Year Expo promises to live up to the expectations of the discerning youth in Sri Lanka comprising, O/L and A/L students, school leavers, tertiary educational and postgraduate course seekers, undergraduates and graduates, underemployed and unemployed.
EDEX Mid-Year Expo is organized by the EDEX Advisory and Management Committee of the Royal College Union. It is endorsed by the Prime Minister’s Office and the key line Ministries.
