The first copy of the Sinhala book titled ‘Project Management’ authored by Duminda Weeraratne was presented to Professor Uditha Liyanage, Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Management yesterday. The book consists of five parts and each part describes the main phases of project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
The book is mainly targeted at employees of private, public and community development sector organisations who are involved in managing projects. Duminda Weeraratne is the CEO of the leading training and consultancy firm Project Management Solutions (PMS). Over the last 20 years, he has been involved in a large number of national and international projects. He is also a leading trainer in project management who has trained over 5,000 employees of leading organisations in Sri Lanka. The content of the book can be viewed at www.pms.lk.
