DHL Keells (Pvt.) Ltd was recently awarded a Silver Award at the HRM Awards 2012. Organised by the Association of HR Professionals, the HRM Awards 2012 selected, recognised, and felicitated the best organisations that practice effective HRM methods and techniques both in the private and public sectors.
The award was accepted on behalf of the company by DHL Keells Head of HR Pushpika Gunatilleke in the presence of DHL Keells Country Manager Manish Patel.
This year’s shortlisted companies were judged on areas such as talent supply, leadership and talent management, building capabilities, rewards and recognition and employment relationship. DHL Express, South Asia CEO Malcolm Monteiro said, “It is an honour to be recognised amongst the top 20 organisations at the HRM awards in Sri Lanka. At DHL, we will continue to implement the best in class HR practices that have resulted in us being an employer of choice.”
In order to equip employees to deliver their ‘customer promise’, DHL has a worldwide program called Certified International Specialist (CIS) program. Designed by DHL, the accreditation program is aimed at increasing employees’ expertise in helping customers grow their business internationally. All 100,000 DHL Express employees globally have been certified under this program.
