Sri Lanka’s sole legal manufacturer of tobacco products, Ceylon Tobacco Company (CTC), felicitated its long-serving employees and its high achievers at a special program held at the company recently.
CTC Brand Manager Thusitha Abeyesekera was the winner of the prestigious Chairman’s Award 2012, for his outstanding contribution with the launch of the company’s innovative variant, Dunhill SWITCH, whilst five others received seniority awards.
CTC brand team led by Thusitha played a pivotal role in the launch of Dunhill SWITCH which now accounts for over 50% of the premium Dunhill share.
In addition, Ceylon Tobacco Company recognised its long-serving employees.
The Company’s IT Head Janak Weerakkody and Electronics Assistant Manager J.P. Chandrasoma, completed 25 years of service at CTC, whilst Regulatory Affairs Manager Ruban Ratnasingham, Trade Marketing and Distribution Head Shiron Jayakody and Finance Director, Ariful Islam completed 15 years of service.
