Coke’s Country HR Manager wins award at Asia Pacific HRM Congress

Coca-Cola Sri Lanka’s CountryHR Manager won the prestigious Human Resources Leadership Award at the ASIA PACIFIC HRM CONGRESS held on 6th September 2012 in Bangalore, India. Nilanthi Jayatillake, Country Human Resources Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited, was recognized for her valuable contribution to the field of HR in the country and her work done to implement best practices and improve work life balance for employees of Coca-Cola. This award is considered as a valuable recognition in the field of HR.

The Asia Pacific HRM Congress follows a stringent selection process and awardees are chosen by an independent global research cell, which constitutes of professionals from different parts of the Asia. Competencies for the award are judged based on various skill sets of the applicant,  including strategic business perspective, business goal management, managing risk and change, orientation towards the team and people management, networking abilities, focus on the customer and performance management. The award also takes into account the perception of the person in the media, the applicant’s credibility, achievements and value contribution to the business, track record of performance, as well as values, integrity and work life balance.
