The Sri Lanka Chapter of the Chartered Management Institute of UK (CMI) together with knowledge partner, KPMG have organised an evening presentation to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with business growth through mergers, acquisitions and restructuring.
The event will feature two presentations from the perspective of strategic investors and business entrepreneurs who have successfully demonstrated growth in their businesses through structured acquisitions, mergers and process restructuring.
The presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion moderated by Reyaz Mihular, Managing Partner of KPMG Sri Lanka and with an eminent panel of industry experts including Asanga Seneviratne, Managing Director of Anilana Hotels and Properties, Mohamed Ziauddin, Managing Director of Norfolk Foods, Trevor Mendis – Course Director, BSc & MBA, IIHE for University of Wales, UK, Suresh Perera, Principal – Tax & Regulatory and Shiluka Goonewardene, Principal – Transactions & Restructuring of KPMG Sri Lanka.
According to CMI interest to attend the presentation so far has been very positive and many top management executives from several industrial sectors including bankers, stock brokers, company secretaries and legal companies, directors/CEOs of public and private companies have already registered. They confirm that the registration is only by purchase of a ticket on or before 9 October.
