The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA) have joined hands with the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka to impart their knowledge to students and the youth, contributing to the progress of the accounting profession as well as the invaluable role that accountants will play in businesses in the future.
This venture has created a path which offers exemptions to students of Wayamba University to gain the much acclaimed management accounting expertise at an affordable cost available only via CMA. This enables undergraduates and graduates to commence CMA at any level completed, paving the way for them to obtain a professional qualification recognised by the South Asian Management Accounting bodies, CGA Canada, ACCA (UK), and CPA Australia.
These initiatives place emphasis in their mission of enhancing and offering better opportunities to students and will undoubtedly contribute to the development of the accountancy profession in the country.
