As part of an official visit to CIMA’s global markets, CIMA President Andrew Miskin is in Sri Lanka on 19 and 20 September.
Highlights of his visit will include meeting with Central Bank Governor Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy, signing a Memorandum of Agreement with CA Sri Lanka as well as meeting with CIMA’s corporate partners, tuition providers and members in the country.
Andrew’s engagements with various CIMA stakeholders in the country will focus on promoting management accountancy, and how it will add value to local businesses to drive long term equitable success, benefiting people and the environment.
Andrew has held a variety of roles within CIMA, including serving on the CIMA council, as Chairman of CIMA’s members’ services committee and as Deputy President of the executive committee. Andrew will therefore oversee the creation of the new Association with CIMA’s joint venture partner the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
During his management consulting career Andrew has lived and worked in several parts of the world – from Paris, Iraq and Switzerland to Ukraine. He has held senior leadership roles within Esso, KPMG, IBM, CSC and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Andrew is also a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and a Chartered Engineer. He undertakes pro-bono charitable consulting work through the auspices of the Worshipful Company of Management Consultants.
