The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) recently held the awards ceremony for the Certificate and Intermediate level students where a total of 21 students won special prizes for their accomplishments in the initial stage of the chartered accounting course offered by the Institute.
At a ceremony held at the Institute’s Colombo 7 premises, a total of 121 students were also awarded intermediate certificates and certificates in accounting and business for their achievements.
The award ceremony was graced by Past President Sujeewa Mudalige, who was the Chief Guest at the event.
Congratulating the students on their achievement, CA Sri Lanka President Sujeewa Rajapakse encouraged the students to continue their dedication to their professional studies while maintaining the winning streak they portrayed at the recent examinations.
CA Sri Lanka Vice President Arjuna Herath, CA Sri Lanka’s Chief Executive Officer Aruna Alwis, Alternate Chairman of the Student Training and Development Committee Sanjaya Bandara, and Chairman of Examination Committee Jagath Perera was also present at the event.
