Journey! Giftwork training for managers
Great Place to Work Institute is proud to present the ‘Journey! Giftwork Training Program’ for managers, which will take place on 26 February at Hotel Taj Samudra. This is a unique program which helps align people managers to their role in engaging with their teams, driving results and creating great workplaces. The program will equip participants with the required knowledge, skills and tools to enrich the day to day interactions they have with their teams with an aim to increase the levels of trust they have with them. This would in turn result in high performance levels,
Research carried out by Great Place to Work has identified that the relationship between managers and employees is the foundation on which great workplaces are built. A majority of the organisations experience a dearth in people management capability of their middle management tier. This missing component causes the reporting employees to showcase a lack of engagement.
In Great Workplaces, the interactions that managers have with their teams are geared towards building trust and are grounded in special practices and behaviours, which make the quality of the interaction between managers and their teams different. This phenomenon is referred to as ‘Giftwork’.
The workshop will enable managers to be the key drivers in establishing the organisation as a great work place.
