Avix Group completes first Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma Corporate Coaching

Avix Group which was set up in 2014 provides consulting for organisations who wish to be more competitive and profitable through operational excellence. They work with organisations to rapidly identify and implement overhead cost reduction strategies, manage performance and process improvement initiatives and optimise shared service delivery models. These companies can be from diverse sectors although Avix Consulting offers specialist training for the services and manuservices sector.

Avix Consulting completed its first Yellow Belt Course at Colombo Conference Rooms situated in Colombo 3 for a batch of 15 corporate executives. Lean and Six Sigma methods, when utilised within the organisation, will enable any organisation in any industry or activity to thrive in the 21st century. The heart of lean six sigma management is to focus relentlessly on improving value- creating processes and consistent standards running across functions and technologies.

It will equip Sri Lankan companies with the tools to effectively compete in Asia and the world. These tools constitute the next leap in the long evolution of management methods. This workshop follows an earlier workshop which was conducted jointly with the Colombo Leadership Academy in September, targeted at the senior management. A workshop for the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing is being scheduled in the next two months.

In order to further strengthen their service offering, Avix Group has teamed up with the US Lean Guru Institute who provides coaching and counselling to an international client base in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Together with Avix Consulting, they are looking to expand their presence in the South and Far Asian regions. The US Lean Guru Institute operates in over 15 countries globally and also has significant experience in Operational Excellence techniques in services and manufacturing and are also working with the world famous Shingo Institute.
