He was promoted to the position of Senior Manager Insurance at Asian Alliance in January 2012 and has added tremendous value to the company through his dynamism and proven technical and leadership skills.
Over his 15-year career, he has earned a reputation for diligence and integrity and is affiliated to several local and international industry organizations. He is a Senior Associate of the Australia and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and of the Chartered Insurance Institute of the UK. He holds a Diploma in Computer Studies. Sithumina also serves as the Treasurer of the Sri Lanka Insurance Institute.

Also, I would like to express my gratitude to the Director/CEO, management and the rest of my colleagues at Asian Alliance for their encouragement and active support in ensuring that I was given all the necessary resources to manage my study and work commitments efficiently. If not for the company’s forward thinking initiatives to push its employees to attain higher professional qualifications in insurance, this achievement would not have been possible.”
A recent independently conducted employee satisfaction survey at AAI reflected that employees value very highly the career development opportunities extended by the Company. AAI has seen a year over year growth of young talent enrolling for professional insurance exams from the foundation level up to the chartered insurer status.
