Academy of Design (AOD), South Asia’s celebrated design campus offering undergraduate degrees in fashion, graphic and interior along with diplomas in photography and jewellery design, hosted its Open Day 2011 at the end of July.

AOD’s Open Day was an interactive day marked with free design exhibitions, workshops and campus tours, giving an insight to the education, facilities, students, alumni, careers and the faculty of AOD.

The free design workshops were particularly popular as design students and enthusiasts flocked to learn interior and fashion design basics, screen printing, sculpting, drawing and photography from AOD’s international faculty.

AOD Open Day also marked the opening of enrolments for AOD’s September intake of students for the complete three-year Northumbria University School of Design degrees offered at the campus.
