Academy for Administrative Professionals 12th Anniversary Graduation Ceremony followed by the annual seminar workshop ‘Exceeding the Vision’, held recently at Kingsbury Hotel. The salient feature of the day was Batch 13 graduation of the Executive Secretary and Administrative Practice Diploma, where Kushani Jayasuriya grabbed batch top and creativity awards.
Sunethra Jayaratne Nugawela, welcoming the distinguished gathering said that AAP is dynamic and diverse in bridging the gaps of knowledge, trade skills, technology breakthroughs, networking, and most importantly keeping everyone happy and steady despite the winds of change blow across.
Congratulating the graduating students, she emphasised the need of stabilising in the field and keeping AAP flag high with their diverse and borderless professional role which should be performed impactfully so that profession will become indispensable. AAP has spread her wings in Australia, Brunei, Bangladesh, China, Canada, Dubai, England, India, Maldives, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan internationally and she invited all Administrative Professionals to join AAP free membership benefits and studies. AAP is a closely knitted family who makes others lives beautiful with wonderful memories. Sun rises to AAP with positive thoughts daily, she concluded.
Rajendra Theagarajah Chief Guest who delivered the keynote on ‘Exceeding the Vision’, purposed how to empower to step beyond the vision, immersing to unlock the doors that lead to huge potentials.
David Forreset, Mahinda Saranapala, Dr. Pujitha Silva, Dhammika Kalapuge, Prof. Diyanth Samarasinghe and Johnson Devasagayam were the respective panel of resources who shared their broad base expertise on given topics with nearly 100 participants. The presenters of the day comprised of students of AAP namely Sasheena Kamaldeen, Ayona Tisera, Prasadi Attanayake, Tracy Quyan, Denu Dabare, Amenda de Alwis, Tilani Gunawardena and Elisa Dissanayake.
