Pair Partners Founder and CEO Hannah Siegertsz
The US Seattle, WA-based Pair Partners and the Women in Engineering (WIE) team of the Informatics Institute of Technology recently held a unique workshop titled the “Ladies Who Lead” (LWL).
Pair Partners Founder and CEO Hannah Siegertsz conducted the workshop attended by over 100 women was a success.
Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Hannah moved to the US to attend university. After which she began working for many different Fortune 500 companies and gained a wealth of knowledge. One thing that never changed, was her passion for bringing business back to Sri Lanka.
“There is so much untapped talent in Sri Lanka that is just waiting to be found,” says Hannah. Her passion does not only stop at finding raw talent in Sri Lanka, but helping professionals thrive. The Ladies Who Lead workshop was born out of seeing a need for women in Sri Lanka who were struggling to find their calling, role at work, or voice in a male-dominated environment.
This young, uber-talented individual made an impressive show with the help of the WIE IIT team. The day was jam-packed with interactive sessions on topics such as leadership, communication and change. Other industry leaders such as Idea Mart and Zone 24/7 presented on accelerating women tech inclusion and how distinct female leadership is and its importance.
“It was very interactive and inspiring, and even though I don’t work in the corporate world, I was able to use examples from my life and experiences to relate to what Hannah was saying,” said a very satisfied attendee. When surveyed after the event, the Ladies Who Lead workshop was given a 4.75 out of 5 rating for recommending this event to a friend. This is definitely an event to write home about.
Pair Partners has already begun planning the next workshop for 2021. The next event will feature three speakers from the US with so much to give back to their home country.
