Sri Lankan children will now have the opportunity to better improve their learning skills through the introduction of newly revamped brain development program called UCMAS (Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System). This program is aimed at developing the lifelong mathematical skills for children from age four to thirteen years old.
UCMAS Sri Lanka is going to be relaunched under the new innovative and experienced management team that is vowing on making the program the leading skills development educational program in Sri Lanka. The new management team will have new direction and vision that keeps the children educational development as its top priority.
UCMAS was relaunched under the new management last week at the Movenpick Hotel, 24 Colombo 3, Colombo. UCMAS program is an Abacus based mental arithmetic program for children that will stimulate brain development to make them successful in their educational carrier. While strengthening the mathematical skills of the children, UCMAS approach will enhance the entire development of the brain and establish the fundamental building blocks such as concentration, observation, memory, imagination, creativity, judgment, application, reasoning and self-confidence.
UCMAS is an ISO 9001:2008 certified brain development program that was founded in Malaysia by Dr. Dino Wong. The first UCMAS centre opened its doors in 1993 in Malaysia based on the simple premise: Provide quality ‘Abacus and mental math training’ to children in the age group of four to 13 years and help them ‘discover the genius within’. Legions of students registered for this program and over the years UCMAS developed as an International concept offering this wonderful program worldwide in over 6,000+ centres across over 80+ countries.
UCMAS started offering classes from 2004 in Sri Lanka and trained over 10,000 students so far. Currently, the program is getting re-launched under the new management to take its success to the next level in Sri Lanka.
