StrEdge Director Janaka Epasinghe points out that that the success of the training session comes with ‘massive competencies built within the StrEdge team through hands on operational excellence to cater to their clients.’
He further avers that initiatives of this nature are of national significance as well to create a productive Sri Lanka. He added: “We invest time to understand the current state and the gaps pertaining to the four pillars of ‘Strategy, People, Process and Technology’ related to a business and help businesses to bridge these gaps and unleash their true potential to create a conducive working platform for both the employees and the customers.”
StrEdge offers end-to end-solutions covering all organisational needs, including technology solutions, business coaching, financial and organisational restructuring including human resources solutions, project management, investment coordination, etc. In addition, StrEdge also offers training programs on Lean Belt Certification (Yellow and Green), champion training, root cause analysis and operating cost reduction.
“As part of this process and being involved at the ground level in creating operational excellence, our consultants are rich with problem solving experience and expertise. This experiences and expertise is transformed into all our training programs as in the case of our recently concluded ‘Champion in Managing Operations’ segment,” says Ranmore Van Dort.
Champion in Managing Operations program, as the Senior Consultant explains, identified non-value adding activities or process wastes, capacity planning, meeting customer demands, visual management and inventory management.
The training which was in form of group activities and stimulation games to ensure a hands-on learning experience, was found to be a refreshing experiencing by all participants as their feedback testifies.
“This training exposed me to professionals from different industries and new ideas. It helped me gain insights into managing our operations and how to train our second and third levels of employees on the basics,” says Care Point Head of Operations Kiran Kudaligama.
Lauding the program, Business Focus 360’ Executive – Customer Relations Rochelle Don Paul notes: “It was a very invigorating experience, enabling the participants to relate it to every organisation and business. I strongly recommend it as a high quality program.”
