Attorney-at-Law Ravi Jayawardana has been reappointed as the Chairman of the Vocational Training Authority (VTA) and assumed duties yesterday. He received the appointment letter from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, and Deputy Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Karunarathna Paranawithana was present when Jayawardana assumed duties. Jayawardana, who is also a past Chairman of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, said he will steer VTA to improve the employability of youth with proper vocational training.
