Runit Lanka Ltd. CEO and ex-CEO/GM of Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, Ministry of Tourism Development, Pradeep Siriwardane was recognised as the ‘Outstanding UCD Sri Lankan Alumnus of the Year 2018’ by University College, Dublin, at the official presentation held at the Hilton Colombo, Sri Lanka recently.

The UCD is an Irish business school whose programs are consistently ranked in the world’s top 100 by the Financial Time and Economist Intelligence Unit and also holding ‘Triple Crown’ of accreditation by the three centres of business and academic excellence, EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.
Siriwardane is a brilliant alumnus of the UCD, had successfully completion M.Sc. in Management and IT.
According to UCD sources, the aim of award is to identify individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievements of global alumni and have made an exceptional contribution in their chosen field and who reflect UCD’s founder John Henry Newman’s ambition for ‘true enlargement of mind’.Professor Anthony Brabazon, Dean, UCD College of business said, “The UCD qualified judging panel selected Siriwardane as the UCD Sri Lankan Alumnus of the Year 2018 by recognition of his ultimate professional achievement in management and ICT sector.” “My Master’s studies at UCD have greatly influenced my leadership style and strategic vision I am also grateful for the networking and career development opportunities provided by the thriving UCD Business alumni community in Sri Lanka,” said Siriwardane.
