Omentra.com, Sri Lanka’s first digital procurement solution launched its own unique talk show; ‘58 minutes with’ this year. Their first session featuring Ajit Gunewardene; investor in Pick Me, proved to be a resounding success. Omentra is now back with its second talk show scheduled for 27 September featuring Nathan Sivagananathan, Chief Growth Officer and member Apparel Board at MAS Holdings.
Nathan will speak on ‘Disrupt & Thrive through Innovation’ and share his experiences about driving business in a challenging environment and the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation for growth. Insights will also be given on how to foster an innovation-based culture in the organisation, and why innovation is important to Sri Lankan businesses to help compete globally.
Omentra Head of Operations Akmal Latiff said, “The key to any successful business in the future is being able to come up with new ideas to keep operations, products and services fresh. With the growth of technology and new ways of working, innovation is playing a huge role in the workplace. The most successful organisations therefore will be those that can prep for the future and push the envelope creatively to find the next innovative idea. This is the reason we picked this topic. Having been an innovator that has made some noteworthy changes to the organisation he worked at, we felt that Nathan Sivagananathan, would be the ideal candidate to talk about entrepreneurship, innovation and growth.”
‘58 minutes with Nathan Sivagananathan’ will be held on 27 September at 5:45 p.m. at the Chartered Accountants Auditorium.
