The entire team of GSK Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Sri Lanka came together for an annual conference at the Anantara Kalutara resort to celebrate the achievements of the current year and align on the 2022

objectives. The team engaged with global leaders within the company and discussed their plan to be ambitious for patients in Sri Lanka while doing business the right way.
The annual conference was designed on the theme of cricket with the intent to embed the champion’s spirit in every GSK colleague.
GSK Sri Lanka Country Head Sunder Ramachandran mentioned, “This is the first time that the team was meeting in person after nearly three years. The meeting acted as a catalyst in igniting our ambition to serve the patients in Sri Lanka by being a strong partner for health care professionals, distributors and our retail chemists.” The team also engaged with the top distributors in the country. Leading medical practitioners joined the conference to provide their perspective on the evolving healthcare landscape in Sri Lanka and how global companies like GSK can continue to provide best in class solutions. Peter D ‘Almeida, of Koombiyo fame and Colombo’s television and theatre scene, gave a keynote on how Sri Lankans can become world beaters and what it takes to win on the global stage.
