Academy for Administrative Professionals is geared to host its annual residential seminar for the 13th consecutive year during 20-22 October, at Mount Heaven Hotel Ella. A modernised out bound training and a workshop is the focus in order to train employees to face present day challenges, quality controls and management of risk. Communication, Leadership, Team Building, Beauty Secrets and Stress relief are the other subjects lined up for execution. As a regular feature of the event, educational excursion to Saman Devalaya, Bamarakanda, Dunhida falls, Demodara, Dova Temple, Lipton seat and other important and historical places have been included to educate participants on Sri Lanka, her history, places of interest and value during the journey. As usual AAP regrets the inability of opening the seminar to public, as it was overbooked even prior to the closing date, with targeted 90 participants comprising managers, HR professionals, executive secretaries and administrative professionals.
Dr. Chalinda Beneragama renowned trainer and Director of the Agriculture Unit of Peradeniya University will brain storm the participants with unique training methodologies. Dilini Liyanage will share the beauty and relaxation secrets. Sunethra Nugawela, Consultant of AAP said that, 13th residential seminar is another unique product, specially designed for administrative professionals. She further stated that this two-night three-day workshop has focused on innovation and talent building. It will be also an opportunity to explore on social etiquette, event management, public speaking, designing, planning and presentation experiences.
Social events are planned with theme nights to exhibit hidden talents of the participants. Janitha Liyanage, Team Leader together with her team has a series of entertainment and a galore of prizes and surprises for the participants. AAP is confident of response but always welcome the evaluation of participants.
