The FITIS Business Leaders Forum, organised by the apex body of the ICT industry, the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS), will be inaugurated on 23 January at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute at 5.30 pm, under the patronage of highly sought-after international expert in business performance, Professor Michael Bourne of the Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield University, UK.

At the forum, Prof. Bourne will speak on «Exploring Strategy Implementation» to a high-profile audience comprising of some of the country’s top business leaders representing the ICT and non ICT sectors.
FITIS Chairman Dr. Kithsiri Manchanayake said that the main objective of the Business Leaders Forum is to enhance the knowledge of business leaders on the latest developments in both ICT and Business. “The forum will also be an important platform for networking opportunities as well as to build and foster the business community further,» he said.
FITIS CEO Aruna Alwis said that FITIS was pleased to have Prof. Bourne to inaugurate the forum, which no doubt will further enhance the standing of the event. “Prof. Bourne has a reputation as a leader who specialises in business performance at Cranfield University and therefore, I am certain his presentation will be very insightful and informative among the business leaders who will participate at the forum,” he said.
The forum has been organised by FITIS to provide an important platform for business leaders to gain important insights on the prevalent trends and changes in relation to IT and business performance that is relevant to the corporate world and business leaders.
